Rotate the Tires and Improve the efficiency of the Vehicle

You will need to rotate the tires on a regular basis for your vehicle. Doing so will help increase the fuel efficiency as well as the longevity of the vehicle as well. The tires are the only part of the vehicle connecting it to the surface of the road. So make sure that they are in the best condition possible to be driven on. Each tire should be properly inflated. When they are, then they will wear evenly all the way around each tire. If you are not sure when the tires should be inspected, make sure to contact us.

Rotate the tires

The tires should be rotated to help ensure that they are wearing correctly and evenly with one another. Sometimes the tires can wear unevenly. This will cause one tire or one side of the tire to wear differently than the rest do. As this happens, then that tire will wear out quicker than it otherwise should and need to be replaced. Sometimes the parts of the tire can wear based on where the tire is placed on the vehicle. Rotating the tires allow them to be placed differently to help them wear evenly as well.

When the tires are inspected make sure that you check the tread as well. This is a great indication of how the tires are wearing. You can take a penny and place it upside down in the groove of the tires. If you see the top of Lincoln’s head, then the tread is too shallow. It would be recommended to purchase a new set of tires. When there is proper tread on the tires, you will be able to handle the vehicle better on roads that may be wet or slick. Anytime you notice an issue, make sure to bring the vehicle in as soon as possible for an inspection.
