With April being National Car Care Month, now is the ideal time to have the vehicle properly inspected. We will be able to inspect it bumper to bumper, and look for any signs of wearing or damaged parts. If you notice any issues between visits, always contact us immediately. This will help save time, money, and stress in the long run. The longer an issue goes on, the more damage it produces. This will also result in a higher repair bill as well. You will also want to follow the maintenance schedule in the manual, to make sure your vehicle is as reliable as it can be.

One of the first things to check is how the vehicle handles on the road. You may notice that the vehicle pulls in one direction. This could be from the tread wear on the tires. You can place a penny upside down in the groove of the tires. If you see the top of Lincoln’s head, then the tread has worn down. Check the brakes too. If the vehicle pulls in a direction when you apply the brakes, there could be an issue with the rotors or pads. The brakes are one of the most important safety features, so you will always want them inspected. We can check under the hood as well to ensure there is enough brake fluid in the reservoir of the vehicle.

As you drive, you will need the headlights to see at night. But you may forget about the taillights or blinkers. Make sure that these are inspected as well. Doing so will help others see you and be aware of what direction you plan on turning. This will prevent other drivers trying to pass you as you turn in that direction. You will also want to make sure that the headlights are aimed properly so you can see the road head of you.
