As you check the lights of the vehicle, remember the headlights, taillights, and blinkers. These are all important because they will increase the safety when you drive. Without lights, you will not be able to see the road ahead of you. You will also have a decrease in safety because other drivers will not be able to see you. If the lights are not working properly, they could rear end or have a head on collision. You will also want to check that the blinkers are working. If they are not, someone could try to pass you as you are turning that direction.

Check the Headlights

Check the headlights to make sure they are aimed and positioned properly. This way you can see the road in front of you, as well as the ditch. If anything jumps out of the ditch and runs across the road, you will see it. You will also want to make sure that the lights are not aimed at oncoming traffic. This could partially blind them or make it difficult for them to see. If you are not sure if the lights are aimed properly, you will want to contact us as soon as possible. That way we can inspect them and have them positioned correctly.

Always take a few moments and walk around the vehicle to check the blinkers, headlights, and taillights. Doing this will help you to be aware of any issues that the lights might have. We can make sure that the bulb and fuse is still good for the vehicle. If either needs to be replaced, we can do so quickly to help get you back on the road. Also remember to notice any issues out of the norm of the vehicle. Any odd noises or smells should always be checked so they do not become worse over time.
