Knowing when you have an issue with the tires of your vehicle is important. Always make sure that you follow regular maintenance inspections for the vehicle. You will want to make sure that the tires are also inspected on a regular basis. This way you can ensure they are in the best condition possible to drive on. If there is any issue with the vehicle or tires, always make sure to bring it in to have it inspected. You can also check the owner’s manual to see when certain maintenance tasks should be done.

When driving, be aware if the vehicle is pulling in one direction or the other. If it is, there could be an issue with the tires for your vehicle. Make sure that you bring the vehicle in to have the tires inspected. One of the first things that we inspect is how much air pressure they have. If a tire is too low, it will be more likely to blow when driving on it. As the tires are over inflated, they could pick up sharp objects on the road. When you check the air pressure yourself, make sure the vehicle has had the chance to sit awhile. This will give it an accurate reading.

Also remember to have the tires check for tread wear. Knowing how the tread is wearing will help keep the tires lasting as long as possible. You can check this quickly by taking a penny and placing it upside down in the groove of the tire. If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, then the tread is wearing out. You may also notice it by how the vehicle handles on wet or slick roads as you drive. Remember to have the tires aligned and rotated, as this can help prolong the life of them as well.
